SPECIFICATIONS

Description:

Sectional drying mat consisting of new, high-quality rubber (no recycled material). Available in closed or open construction.
The rubber strips consist of layers of rubber interwoven with continuous and discontinuous polyester (grey textile) or polyamide (coloured textile) fibres. The textile is visible on both sides of the mat (reversible). The rubber strips are separated by profiles. The strips and the profiles are kept in place by steel wires running at right angles through the strips.

Applications:

These mats are suitable for indoor use and for use in covered outdoor areas. They are recommended for heavy traffic entrance areas (more than 100 persons per hour).

Profiles:   Aluminium, PVC or brass profiles with a height of 11.4 mm or 15 mm.

Rubber strips:

The rubber strips are 12 mm or 18 mm high and 15 mm wide. All rubber strips are new (no recycled material).
The fact that the fibres are continuous guarantees the strength and the long life of the mat. The rubber has a shore A hardness 0171 and a density of 1,23 T/m3. Textile is grey or coloured.

Steel wire:
Hard, fully cold galvanised steel wire (2.3 mm thick). The distance between the stainless steel wires is 38 mm maximally.

Dimensions and finish:

The total mat height is 12 mm or 18 mm. The mat is made to size in the factory. Practically all shapes are possible. Available in closed or open construction (3 mm,
6 mm or 16 mm) with single or double rubber strips. Possibility to incorporate a logo, drawing or text.

Installation:
The mats can be placed in a matwell with a depth of 15 mm or 20 mm or directly on the floor; in that case, a ramping profile is recommended.

Warranty:
10 years for structural defects in case of normal use (in accordance with the warranty conditions).

Tests:

This mat meets the standards of the following tests carried out by the University of Gent:
  • Fire and smoke tests: (in walking direction) B s1
  • Colourfastness tests: class 7 (ISO 105 B02 (1994))
